Comment:
Full optical zoom to capture the mood. Colour de-saturated
to convert to black & white.
Anecdote: We were on our
way from Rotorua to Gisborne. The map showed that Highway
38 was the most direct. I should have taken note (and
photographed) the road sign that proclaimed: "Bends
for 160Km" - After 20 km or so, the road
became nothing more than a dirt track. It was an 'interesting'
journey to say the least! Fuel stations that had not
had gas for 10 years - another gas station with plenty
of fuel but no power to pump it with; "We might
have the power on tomorrow!" etc... |
